In the lessons
In respect and inclusion lessons, wheelchair users go to school, work and play sports (wheelchair basketball, the Paralympics); ramps, lifts, wide doors and dropped kerbs make places accessible. In manners, don't touch or push someone's wheelchair without asking, speak to the person, not to their helper, and don't park bikes or bins in the way of ramps. Phrases: wheelchair user, wheelchair access, wheelchair ramp, in a wheelchair, wheelchair-accessible.
