In Jewish tradition
A spider's net of threads. The prophets and Job use it as a picture of something flimsy: trust in the wrong thing is like a spider's web, and the wicked's webs cannot make clothes.
Interpretation. Job's and Isaiah's spider webs are read as warnings that wrongdoing and false trust give no protection.
