In the lessons

In science, sunshine gives plants energy to make food (photosynthesis) and helps your body make vitamin D; it also carries ultraviolet rays that can burn your skin. In safety lessons (especially in Australia and NZ): «Slip, slop, slap, seek, slide» — wear a shirt, sunscreen, a hat, find shade and wear sunglasses. Phrases: in the sunshine, bright sunshine, sunshine and showers.

In Jewish tradition

The prophet compares God's quiet watching to still heat and dew.

Interpretation. Tradition reads this as God waiting patiently before He acts, giving people time to turn back.
