Note

Always «subscribe to» something. Noun: «subscription»; person: «subscriber». In maths, a subscription is a repeated payment: multiply the price by the number of months or weeks. Safety: subscriptions can keep charging money until you cancel, so check with an adult.

In Jewish tradition

In these texts, to "subscribe" means to sign a document with one's hand, or to declare oneself belonging to God.

Interpretation. Jeremiah's signing of the field deed is read as faith that Israel would return to the land. In Isaiah, writing "of the LORD" on the hand is read as people proudly joining Israel.
