sterility
noun
In Jewish tradition
In Sefer Yetzirah it is the opposite of fruitfulness, one of the pairs that go with the seven double letters.
Interpretation. The book pairs each double letter with a quality and its opposite, such as wisdom and ignorance. This shows that creation is built on balanced opposites.
