occult

In Jewish tradition

In Sefer Yetzirah, "Occult Intelligence" is a name for the seventh path, which is hidden and known only by deep thought.

Interpretation. Westcott's translation reads the thirty-two paths as steps of hidden wisdom. This belongs to later mystical writing, not the Torah.
