In Jewish tradition
In the Torah it is the name of an Israelite man, the father of Sethur, who was a spy from the tribe of Asher. In Chronicles it is also the name of several other men, such as the ancestor of Omri of Issachar. None of them is the angel.
Interpretation. The name means "Who is like God?" in Hebrew. Jewish tradition also knows an angel named Michael, but that is a different figure from these men.
