kindness
noun (kindness — uncountable; a kindness, kindnesses)
Everyday
In the lessons
In everyday life, school and feelings, kindness means helping someone who is hurt, including someone who is left out, sharing, saying thank you and being gentle with animals; «random acts of kindness» are small kind things for anyone. Kindness makes people feel safe and happy, and it is the opposite of bullying. In stories, kindness is often rewarded, like in fairy tales where a kind girl helps an old woman.
