In Jewish tradition

Here Job is the name of a book of the Bible and of its main character, a righteous man who suffers and speaks with God.

Interpretation. Job belongs to the Writings, the third part of the Tanakh. Its poetry is a source of ideas about depth and mystery that Sefer Yetzirah draws on. Tradition reads God's answer to Job as showing that human beings cannot fully understand God's ways.
