herewith
adverb
In Jewish tradition
Aaron enters the holy place with a bullock and a ram, which is the service of Yom Kippur. The prophets also use it plainly to mean "with this", as when Jerusalem is said not to be satisfied "herewith" after her many idolatries.
Interpretation. Tradition reads the first verse as the order of the Day of Atonement, when the high priest alone enters the Holy of Holies once a year. Ezekiel's use is read as a rebuke of Israel for chasing foreign powers and their gods.
