In the lessons
In science and history lessons hadrosaurs lived in the Late Cretaceous, about 100 to 66 million years ago, in North America, Asia and Europe. Some, like Parasaurolophus, had a hollow crest on their head that may have made honking sounds. They had hundreds of teeth for grinding plants and lived in herds. Scientists found nests and babies of the hadrosaur Maiasaura in Montana, USA.
