In Jewish tradition
Carried out, as in judgments brought on Egypt's gods or God's justice done by Gad's tribe. In the Prophets and Writings it also means a king carrying out justice, and a judgment carried out on a wicked king.
Interpretation. Tradition reads the judgments on Egypt's gods as meaning the idols themselves were destroyed during the plagues. David's carrying out of "justice and righteousness" is taken as the model of a good king.
