In Jewish tradition
It is a group of traders travelling together with camels. One carried spices to Egypt, and others were from Tema, Sheba and Dedan in Arabia.
Interpretation. Tradition sees the passing caravan as the means by which Joseph was brought to Egypt, a step in God's plan for the family of Israel. Isaiah pictures caravans of camels bringing gold and incense and praising the LORD, which is read as the nations coming to honour God in the days to come.
