Arabic ثَوَى dwell, مَثْوًى abode (? akin to أَوَى turn aside to lodge, אַוְונָא, ܐܰܘܳܘܢܳܐ lodging-place), Aramaic תָּוָן (in Ez 40 תְּוָא, תָּוַיָּא), ܬܰܘܳܢܳܐ room, chamber);—ת׳ abs.
