Gn 43:16 (J), Pr 9:2; כַּשֶּׂה לַטּ׳ יוּבָ֑ל Is 53:7, sim. of suffering servant of י׳; also Pr 7:22 sim. of fatuousness of one following a strange woman, thoughtless of consequences; יֵרְדוּ לַטּ׳ Je 50:27 metaph. of Babylonian leaders, under fig. of bullocks; so prob. 48:15, and perhaps לַטּ׳ תִּכְרָ֑עוּ Is 65:12. in poet. fig. slaughter, to which the nations are given over by י׳ Is 34:2, specif. of Edom v 6 (‖ זֶבַח; v. ז׳ 6, p. 258a); of Isr.
